La cigale et la fourmi or The cicada and the ant from Jean de La Fontaine - Interpretation

THE CICADA SOCIETY

This isn’t a fable about balance. It’s a world made only of cicadas.

They’re loud. They dance. They burn fast and bright.
They live in 20m² apartments, survive on cheap pasta and secondhand sofas. They order too many Uber Eats. They sing, scroll, flirt with burnout. But they feel — fully.

No winter in sight. No moral to follow. No ant to envy.
Just a generation of dreamers who chose to live now, not later.
Because being alive is already an art form.

So go ahead... dance.
